Brian signs CANi MoU with Osun State Government

BRIAN Integrated Systems Limited, promoted by Balog Technologies Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Osun state government to supply all the computer requirement of the state’s civil servants under the Federal Governments Computer Public-Private initiative, Computer for All Nigerians Initiative.

The event, which held at the Bola Ige Governor Office complex in Osogbo, was chaired by state’s Head of Service, Elder Segun Akinwusi representing the state governor, and was well attended by all Permanent Secretaries of various ministries.

Speaking after the ceremony, Managing Director of BRIAN, Mr. Tunji Balogun, said, “Today’s MOU signing with Osun state government is a testimonial of value we place on quality computer assembly. This is particularly so with the IT consciousness and appreciation of this state that has taken the lead in investing heavily in the best Information Technology Highway in the country. We are therefore very proud on this partnership with Osun state government.”

The General Manager of BRIAN, Mr. Sam Adeyemi, said “We at BRIAN, are fully prepared and mobilized to put high quality CANi computers in home of every civil servant in this state”. He went on to say “We are here in Osun state to partner with both the government and a number of institutions both private and public and we call on all Nigerians particularly, residents of Osun state to cease this opportunity to own their personal computers”

Mr. Balogun further informed the press of the “Most Improved PC Company 2007” awarded to his company by Titans of Hi Tech, and Intel Premiere Partner 2007 Intel Corporation. Expatiating on the Intel award, Balogun said that it was as a result of the purchases made by his company via approved channel, the figures which surpassed that of representatives from other countries, that won them the award. The award was presented at the just concluded Intel Partners Summit held in Paris.

Other partners represented at the signing included, Project Coordinator, CANi, Mr. Soji Romeo,, Mr. Emmanuel Udoise of Microsoft among other dignitaries, Mrs. Osibogun, Regional Director of Skye Bank,

“We hereby use this occasion to call on other state governments to see this as a call to embrace the crusade for IT penetration into the Nigerian grassroots. We are ready to open discursions with every state interested on the Computer for All Nigerians Initiative (CANi)” Concludes Mr. Balogun.
