Evans Brothers introduce schools management software

A new application software designed to help schools improve the management of their routine activities has been introduced into the Nigerian educational sector by Evans Brothers Nigeria Publishers Limited.
Called Integrated School Manager, the product, among other things is designed to help schools have a more reliable accounting, asset management and students grading system.
The publishing firm said it developed the application with the assistance of a former World Bank consultant and administrator, Mr. Jean-Cleron Paul and that the product contains a lot of features that make it to offer solutions to most of the problems that confront schools management.
Project manager for the software, Bola Oyefeso, said the product was built on the Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access platforms, and that this made it easy to use.
“We have taken great care to hide the complexity of the package behind a robust, easy-to-use and attractive interface so that, even with no prior computer knowledge, users can quickly become conversant with the package,” she said.
Meanwhile, the firm has also commenced activities towards integrating the product into the country’ educational rector with and has thus commenced a series of interaction with school in the country.
In the first demonstration held at Ibadan, Managing Director of Evans Brothers, Mr. Gbenro Adegbola, said the motive for developing the software was to create an enabling environment to enhance knowledge and improve service delivery in the country’s educational sector. He added at the occasion that drew many schools in the city that the application would help schools attain greater heights in records keeping, finance and organization of classes and teachers.
The product developer, Jean-Cleron Paul, added that the software could be customised to meet the peculiar needs of a school.
